Job Overview
Reports to: Managing Director
Provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Human Resources function across NAWEC. Leads the development and implementation of human capital strategies, policies, systems, and initiatives that support organisational performance, workforce capability, employee engagement, succession planning, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive Human Capital Strategy aligned with organisational goals
Lead workforce planning, organisational design, and talent management initiatives
Oversee industrial relations, compliance with labour legislation, and employment governance
Design and manage compensation, benefits, reward, and recognition frameworks
Lead HR technology, HRIS, and workforce analytics capabilities
Drive culture transformation, change management, and employee engagement programmes
Provide strategic HR advisory to Executive Management and the Board
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Organisational Development
CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, AHRI or equivalent internationally recognised HR certification — highly desirable
Minimum 10 years progressive HR experience including industrial relations, talent, and OD
At least 5 years in a senior executive HR leadership role in a large and complex organisation
Demonstrated experience in organisational transformation and culture change
Experience in unionized or highly regulated environments — highly desirable.
