Job Title: Assistant Director, Grade 10 Number of Vacancies: One (1) position QUALIFICATIONS Master’s Degree in Governance & Decentralisation, Public Administration/ Human Resource Development/ Development Studies with a Minimum of three (3) years practical experience in Local Governance or related field. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in managing the administrative needs of traditional rulers Participate in the preparation of the end –of – year Reports Participates in the preparation of the annual work plan Help in mobilizing resources and other financial requirements of Councils Assist the Deputy Director in scrutinizing Draft Estimates of Councils Ensures that Councils prepare strategies for effective revenue generation activities Report to Director through the Deputy Director on the revenue shortfall of any council in meeting budget targets Work with Councils to register all compounds and street names Liaises with Donor agencies to look for funds for the implementation of the decentralization programme. SALARY The salary attached to the position is Grade 11, of the New Government Integrated Pay Scale, i.e., D133,860 (One hundred and Thirty-three thousand, Eight hundred and Sixty Dalasi) per annum.
