Applications are invited from suitably qualified Gambians to fill in the vacant positions at the National Records Service.
Job Title: Records Clerk, Grade 3
Number of Vacancies: Six (6) Positions
Qualifications:
3 WASSCE Credits / 4 GCE ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language
Job Summary
This role is essential to the effective management, organization and preservation of records, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient access to information. Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and teamwork, as these principles are fundamental to strengthening our operations and contributing to effective service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for recording official correspondences.
Responsible for the general orderliness and maintenance of files and documents.
Provides basic assistance to visitors, researchers and office staff.
Carries out regular file census.
Performs the above tasks if applicable in an electronic records management system.

Salary:
The salary attached to the position is Grade 3 of the New Government Integrated Pay Scale, i.e. 45,708 (Forty-Five Thousand, Seven Hundred and Eight Dalasis) Per Annum.
